1. Vinegar Solution

  1. Dilute ¼ cup white vinegar with ¾ cup water
  2. Transfer the vinegar solution to a spray bottle and shake well until it mixes
  3. Spray the solution on the candle wax stain
  4. Let the solution get absorbed in the carpet fabric for about 30 minutes.
  5. Place a clean towel over the stained area
  6. Leave the solution on the carpet until the wax gets absorbed

2. Dish Soap and Water

  1. Lay a paper towel over the candle wax to absorb the melted wax
  2. Scrape off the candle wax using your butter knife
  3. Mix 1oz clear dish soap and 12oz water and put the solution in a spray bottle
  4. Blot the area with the dish soap solution
  5. Vacuum the area.

3. Heating Method

Step-by-step process

  1. Wrap an ice cube pack on a paper towel
  2. Blot the candle wax until it hardens
  3. Scrape off the hardened candle wax using a butter knife
  4. Cover the remaining wax with a paper towel
  5. Heat the paper towel for 10-30 seconds using a low-medium iron box and let the paper towel absorb the wax.
  6. Clean your carpet.

Sometimes the candle wax can be in excess or even hard to remove. Thus, you will need other methods of getting the job done.
